I’ll guide you through the entire process
My goal during our session is to make you feel as comfortable and stress free as possible. A few things I do to help achieve that is I communicate with you during the whole process, we discuss and choose a perfect location together, I help you pose so you don't feel uncomfortable behind the camera, and we talk about outfits together to make sure you are completely prepared for our session. Down below you will see more details in regards to what to expect.
01. PICKING A LOCATION
The location process is so fun! This will determine the final outcome of your photos. First off, we decide if we want to do an indoor or outdoor session. Secondly, we figure out where we want to shoot. Lastly, we figure out what time of day we want to shoot. I will provide you with pictures of the location so you don't feel unprepared and you know what to expect. I want you to feel comfortable and confident that we have chosen the perfect location for our session.
02. POSING
Naturally many people get nervous behind a camera, they wonder what they look like, if they look awkward, they don't know what to do and the list goes on. I as your photographer want you to feel the complete opposite, I want you to feel comfortable, and I will help guide you through all of it. We will discuss posing ideas prior to our session, and I will ask you send me some ideas that you like. I will also provide you with an album of posing ideas by request so you can prepare for what I have in store for our session.
03. OUTFITS
Deciding what to wear on your special day can come across very nerve wracking. But I promise you, it doesn't have to be! You have my full support, and I will walk with you through the entire process. We will talk and discuss outfit ideas prior to your special day, I will ask you if you have any ideas already planned and to plan around a neutral color palette. If you don't have anything planned, I will work very closely with you on getting everything planned. I will send you ideas, and you can even send me images of what you have.
Tips on what to wear
Neutral color palette
A neutral color palette will make for perfect photos. Wearing white will allow your eyes to shine and your skin to glow. Black clothing appears to be slimming and elegant. Light colors tend to brighten up the entire picture.
Avoid prints and graphic t-shirts
Please avoid graphic t-shirts and strong patterns. This draws the attention to the wrong place and can easily overwhelm a photo. We want the focus to be on your face!
Choose comfortable clothing
Choosing comfortable clothing will help set up for a much more comfortable experience. This does not mean sweats and oversized t-shirts! This means clothing you can breathe in, shoes you can walk in, and something you feel confident in when wearing.

Do you require travel fees?
I offer free travel within 40 miles roundtrip of Rochester, WA.
What time of day do you recommend we schedule for our session?
My favorite time for sessions are sunrise, and 1-1.5 hours before sunset!
What services do you offer?

How long does it take to receive the photos after our session? How will I receive the photos?
My estimated time of delivery is 2-4 weeks, which will all be uploaded to your online gallery through PixieSet. You will be emailed a link which will directly take you to your online gallery, where you will be able to view and download all your photos. Please save and download your photos within 30 days or else you risk losing them!
What should I wear?
Neutral colors are highly recommended! Don't stress! We can discuss more as we plan your session. I offer guides to help you plan accordingly.
Do you require a down payment?
Yes, I require a 25% non-refundable down payment at time of booking to lock in your date. If you need to re-schedule please let me know 24 hours in advance!
